The Three Layer Systems

As you can see from the image above, we utilize a three layer system to deliver superior quality & durability to any environment. Our three layer system includes the following protective barriers on any flooring surface:

• Polyaspartic Polyurea Clear Top Coat
• Middle Chip Flake Layer: blended to create your custom color
• Polyurea Basecoat

At this point, you may be wondering, “what on earth is Polyurea?” We mention it a lot and its because it’s a key ingredient for our success.

By definition Polyurea is a type of elastomer (polymer) that is created by combining a isocyanate & synthetic resin. – Wikipedia

This may sound like gibberish, but it essentially is a reaction that creates a resin compound that is nearly impervious to water, oils and chemicals. This is because Polyurea creates its own polymer chain that reacts quickly during application and has a low affinity for moisture.

By applying this compound to your home and commercial setting, we are providing you with a new flooring environment that is tough, resilient and highly customize-able. Our Chip Flake system is unique because it provides a unique blend of colored Vinyl Chips that we can blend to create any color combination you desire. It’s a unique system that others try to mimic and one that we’ve mastered.

Our One Day Process

As we’ve already mentioned, our teams are specially trained to apply our Penntek Industrial Coatings in as little as a day. For a quick snap shot into our installation process, we’ve included a snippet video from our Youtube Channel.

Our Penntek Industrial Coating process includes the following steps:

• Power wash the floor to remove old debris
• Apply the PB200 – Polyurea Base Coat for Broadcast System
• Blend your color flakes & apply over Base Coat
• Apply the PT300 – Polyaspartic Polyurea Top Coat
• Allow to dry (believe us – it’s cures quickly!)
