The Avondale Project

Advocate Construction Services

Advocate Construction Services is a complete all-in-one construction company that provides services for:

  • New Home Construction
  • Home Renovation & Remodel
  • Fire & Water Restoration
  • Foundation Repair
  • Custom Cabinetry

The Advondale Project is an example of a Fire Restoration job that we completed over the course of 1-year. This home owner reached out to us after the tragic loss of their home due to a fire that consumed 100% of their home. It was not a total loss, as you can see from the image above. The structure of the home remained in place and our professional crews pursued this project wholeheartedly knowing the loss that this family has faced.

This staircase was so consumed with smoke & fire damage that we had to remove the old structure and rebuild it to its former glory. Our talented staff of carpenters made easy work of this task. As you can tell, working with wood is one of our passions and a cornerstone of our business!

Our Company Mission

At Advocate Construction, we always pledge ourselves to become advocates for each and every one of our customers. We look after each project as if we were completing work on our own homes – passionately pursuing perfection in each phase of construction, remodel & repair.

The Advondale Project is a beautiful display of our ability to restore a decimated home back to its former glory. It is a gorgeous example of Christ’s love for each of us and that nothing is every truly lost. Although we often find that we are in the valley in despair, there is always home at the end of each tunnel with Christ’s provision guiding us along each step.

At Advocate Contruction, we like to be a part of that story and we are here to take care of each and every one of our customers as if we were working for the Kingdom!

As we mentioned above, fire can create intense smoke damage and ruin the integrity of roofs. That was true for the Avondale Project. This image shows our newly erected forms that we created to hold our new roof These were created by hand by our carpentry division.

Complete Fire Restoration

As we stated above, at Advocate Construction, we believe wholeheartedly in acting as an Advocate for all of our customers! Sometimes this involves: helping home owners build beautiful homes, repair their foundations, or improve the interior or exterior of their homes. In other unfortunate situations, we receive the call that another customer just lost their home to fire damage.

We hate receiving these phone calls and immediately feel a sense of duty and God’s provision over these families. It’s tough getting these calls because our hearts immediately break for the loss of a beautiful home for a deserving family.

We also feel a sense of duty and work diligently to ensure these families needs are met as we work to restore these homes back to their original luster. All the while, we give our customers the options of improving certain aspects of their homes to create new designs and looks that improve upon what was there before.

We Work With Your Insurance Company

Fire is a destructive force. The heat, smoke, flames, as well as expansion and contraction can ravage the home from the inside out. The effects of fire damage are broad they can easily create dangerous environments for our crews to work in:

  • Beams are no longer as strong
  • Walls create hollow spots
  • Floors are no longer stable and the roof can easily give way

That being said, we always begin with a complete inspection of the home. We then remove any of the contents that no longer have any structural integrity.

Because we are dealing with a post-fire home, we had to carefully document all damages. We collected all of our information into report for the insurance company to review. This is delicate work and one you don’t want to hire the wrong contractor for.

The fire that ripped through this home left little standing in its wake. Our crews completed a 100% inspection of this home and carefully notated each piece that needed to be removed and kept as much as we could. This is very delicate and time consuming work; it's what sets us apart from other companies.
The fire that ripped through this home left little standing in its wake. Piece by piece… We removed every compromised structure to expose the solid shell. This was our foundation for us to begin our restoration work.
