If you’ve been following our blog for sometime, you’ll know that Foundation Repair is is a delicate balance of leveling your home while not damaging it. Our soil in Wichita Falls, is very susceptible to expansion and contraction. This causes our homes to shift, rise, crack and much more. Every situation requires a different diagnose and a careful evaluation of each aspect of your home.

Our Foundation Repair Process

Our teams dig all of our trenches by hand so that we cause minimal disturbance to your landscaping, prevent damage to pipes and electrical and create less mess. We dig our trenches around your home so that we can grant ourselves access points beneath the foundation, or “slab,” of your home. Once we are below your home, we place our hydraulic lifts along each point and begin the process of slowly lifting and leveling your home.

Using highly accurate Zip Levels, we measure elevation changes in your home as we lift with the hydraulic jacks. This process is slow and we take great care to minimize any structural damage to your home during the lifting process.

We understand that foundation repair is a difficult process and costly for the home and family. Our objective at Advocate Construction is to minimize the financial impact of these difficult situations on our clients. From working with your insurance companies to tailoring our quotes and services to your specific needs; we minimize the ache.

Here is an example of some concrete “shims” & “caps” on a foundation repair job. We install these units as permanent structures to support the home after the home is brought back to level. We also offer a Polyurethane Foam Injection service which fills the voids beneath your home to create a permanent non-absorbent foundation.

This image shows our use of concrete pillars, blocks & steel shims. We combine these high density materials to create pillars custom sized to fit your foundation height. We can adjust these materials until we reach a level elevation on all four corners of your home.
